Following the signing of the trilateral declaration on November 9, the activities of both the OSCE Minsk Group and other international organizations are being brought into line with the provisions of the adopted document. The Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said at a briefing.
She noted that all the processes taking place should be regulated by the institutional and coordinated activities of international organizations.
Referring to the ceasefire violations by the Azerbaijani armed forces on December 11-12, Zakharova said that Russia seeks to do everything possible to maintain lasting stability in the region, expressing hope that the parties will also adopt the same position.
As for the absence of a Russian co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs during the visit of the mediators to the region, the Russian Foreign Ministry Speaker said that there was no political contextt, it was just a logistical issue.
Zakharova also noted that the process of exchanging prisoners between the parties continues, and all issues arising on the spot are settled through the links that the Russian side maintains with Yerevan and Baku.
