The President of the Artsakh Republic Arayik Harutyunyan made the following post on Facebook:
"Dear compatriots, in these hard days, when our people are trying to come to their senses from the pain and bitterness of the loss caused by the terrible war, sometimes bright points are noticed, which inspire us with hope and faith to live and rebuild everything.
The plane carrying more than 40 of our captives, is returning to homeland. The plane will land in Yerevan in a few minutes. I will meet them personally, together with their relatives.
Finding out the fate of all our missing compatriots, returning all surviving servicemen and civilians, finding the bodies of the dead and handing them over to relatives remain the most pressing humanitarian issues on our agenda".
