The servicemen of the International Demining Center of the RF Ministry of Defense continue to carry out engineering reconnaissance and demining works in Artsakh, in the area under the responsibility of the Russian peacekeeping forces. This was reported on the website of the RF Ministry of Defense.
The Russian peacekeepers carried out engineering reconnaissance and demining in the area of Stepanakert airport, ensuring the safety of the group working on the restoration of energy infrastructure damaged during the hostilities.
During the day, an area of about 8 hectares was cleared, 50 buildings were inspected, 51 explosives were found and destroyed.
In total, the engineering subdivisions in Artsakh cleared more than 155 hectares of land, about 38 km of roads, found and neutralized 4811 explosive objects.
