Today, the RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan referred to the news about his resignation.
"I have clearly stated that I can renounce the status given to me by the people only on the basis of reliable results of the will of the people. Until such an expression of will occurs, I will continue to perform my functions as Prime Minister and I have pledged to do so honestly. I want to emphasize again that the number one issue today is the stabilization of the security environment around Armenia, and we will consistently follow this path", the Prime Minister stressed.
According to Pashinyan, there are some processes aimed at leaving the people, the citizens of the Republic of Armenia in general out of the processes and solving problems in closed rooms, in elite environments. "Of course, this is unacceptable, and the people of the Republic of Armenia have been and will continue to be the owner of power and the situation in the Republic of Armenia.
And I want to say that I also consider myself the guarantor of that reality, and the people must be sure that their will is of decisive and irreversible importance in the Republic of Armenia. And there must be an opportunity to express the will of the people. Of course, all attempts to circumvent the will of the people can not succeed", he said.
