The servicemen of the International Demining Center of the RF Ministry of Defense continue to carry out engineering reconnaissance and demining works in the area under the responsibility of the Russian peacekeeping forces in Artsakh. This was reported on the website of the RF Ministry of Defense.
The Russian peacekeepers carried out engineering reconnaissance and demining in the area of Stepanakert airport, private houses, plots of land, ensuring the safety of the group working on the restoration of energy infrastructure facilities damaged during the hostilities.
During the day, an area of about 12 hectares was cleared, 130 buildings were inspected, 172 explosives were found and destroyed. In total, the engineering units in Artsakh cleared more than 150 hectares of land, about 32 km of roads, found and neutralized 4,760 explosive objects.
Vital engineering communications continue to be restored in the war-torn areas with the help of Russian peacekeepers. In total, 48 pillars, 17.2 km of transmission lines and 31 transformers have been restored since the beginning of the works.
