On December 9, the RA Foreign Minister Ara Aivazian, who is in France on a working visit, met with the Secretary General of the Francophonie Louise Mushikiwabo.
The Minister and the Secretary General spoke about the organization's activities during the COVID-19 pandemic and the challenges posed by the outbreak in the Francophone area.
Minister Ayvazyan briefed Louise Mushikiwabo on the humanitarian crisis caused by the war unleashed by the Turkish-Azerbaijani alliance against Armenia and Artsakh and the steps taken to address it.
Ayvazyan drew Mushikiwabo's attention to the direct involvement of Turkish-sponsored terrorist groups in the war, noting that it is a serious threat not only to the security of Armenia and Artsakh, but also of the entire region.
