The Ombudsman of the Artsakh Republic Artak Beglaryan posted on Facebook that in addition to the 3 Armenian captives transferred to Armenia, the body of an elderly man was transferred to the Armenian side. He died in Azeri captivity "under circumstances still unknown to us".
"We are coordinating with the RA Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan our work on the protection of human rights, within the framework of which we will take appropriate actions to find out the circumstances related to the rights of the returned persons.
We continue our joint efforts to collect and analyze data on captives and missing persons, to assist the state authorities as much as possible, as well as to raise issues related to various international organizations", Beglaryan wrote.
