The Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited Gyumri, Shirakamut, Spitak and Vanadzor (affected by the disaster) on the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of the December 7, 1988 earthquake.
At 11:41, Pashinyan took part in a liturgy in memory of the innocent victims of the earthquake in Gyumri and laid a wreath paying tribute to their memory.
Then the Prime Minister went to Shirakamut (Nalband) village of Lori region, the epicenter of the devastating 1988 earthquake. Nikol Pashinyan paid tribute to the memory of the innocent victims of the earthquake by laying a wreath at the monument-khachkar placed near the Shirakamut village municipality.
The Prime Minister also laid wreaths at the monuments to the victims of the earthquake and lit candles in Spitak and Vanadzor.
