The Special Medical Detachment of the RF Eastern Military District is assisting the population of Stepanakert, the capital of Nagorno Karabakh.
During the day, Russian military doctors received 40 local residents. Therapists, surgeons and other specialists provided advice, research and quality medical care.
Earlier, Russian military medical units were transported by IL-76 military planes from Khabarovsk airports to Yerevan and from there to Stepanakert.
More than 60 medical specialists arrived in Stepanakert as part of the first Russian medical unit, including military surgeons, anesthesiologists-resuscitation specialists, therapists and epidemiologists.
