The Bagratashen customs point of the Ra State Revenue Committee started operating on December 1. The uninterrupted entry and exit of all types of trucks through the checkpoint has been restored.
According to Gegham Vanuni, head of the Bagratashen customs point, the functions are carried out at the customs point on a 24-hour basis, providing quality customs service to border crossings. If on December 1 number of trucks was 410, then on December 3, about 700 trucks crossed the border. Gegham Vanuni assures that the customs point is fully staffed with the necessary manpower and equipment so that the service is as fast and convenient as possible.
On September 28, during the martial law, the State Revenue Committee, for security reasons, urged to choose the Bavra customs point instead of the Bagratashen checkpoint to cross the border with vehicles with Armenian license plates.
The normal operation of Gogavan customs point has also been restored since December 1. It was temporarily stopped for the purpose of repairing roads in the Georgian part.
