The servicemen of the demining center of the RF Ministry of Defense continue the engineering search and demining works in Nagorno Karabakh, in the area of responsibility of the Russian peacekeepers.
According to the official website of the RF Ministry of Defense, during the last day a considerable area of the southern part of Stepanakert was cleared of explosive objects. 10 cluster bombs were defused.
The found projectiles, explosives are transported to a specially designated area and destroyed. Ammunition that cannot be safely transported to a special place is destroyed on the spot, observing the necessary safety rules.
The Russian peacekeepers have so far demined, found and defused more than 1,120 explosives over a total area of more than 45 hectares and more than 14 km of roads.
