The regular sitting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council was held today remotely.
The RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan considered important the issue of lifting the ban on entry for Armenian citizens, which arose due to the coronavirus. The issue of passenger transportation is also a priority for Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan noted, expressing hope that the fight against coronavirus will give a positive result in the near future.
"In these hard times, it is important to find an agreed solution to all the delicate issues. The issue of lifting the ban on passenger transportation of RA citizens to a number of EEU countries remains a priority for us.
This year has been more difficult for Armenia for reasons you know. But we have been actively involved in all integration processes. These days we have felt the full support of our friends.
We are thankful for the invaluable assistance provided by the Russian Federation in the fight against coronavirus and other issues that we have encountered this year", said the Prime Minister.
