The 2-day meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the 57 OSCE member states kicks off today under the chairmanship of Albania. The session was scheduled to take place in Tirana, the capital of Albania, but due to the COVID-19 pancemic, it is being organized online.
On December 3 and 4, the ministers will discuss security issues in the OSCE area, including the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
The US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Stephen Bigan will also attend the meeting. According to the State Department, Bigan will also draw attention to the situation in Karabakh along with a number of issues.
