Today, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met in the Government with the Goodwill Ambassador For Armenia, world-famous Armenian football player, world and European champion Youri Djorkaeff and the Advisor to the President of the Football Federation of Armenia, Deputy Mayor of Desin (France) Denis Djorkaeff. The Chief Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs Zareh Sinanyan was also present at the meeting.
The Prime Minister thanked the Djorkaeff brothers for being by the side of Armenia and Artsakh in this hard time. "I am glad to host you once again. The activities and support that the Djorkaeff family is carrying out for the sake of Armenia and Artsakh are very important. In these difficult times, we must be united and unite our national potential to overcome difficulties and move forward. We need to be more active and more interconnected", said Nikol Pashinyan.
Youri Djorkaeff thanked the Prime Minister for his warm words, emphasizing that the Armenian community of France will always support the Armenian people, Armenia and Artsakh. "Mr. Prime Minister, we are here today to provide humanitarian, moral support, as well as to show that the Armenian-French ties are strong. We will continue our commitment, we will continue to be by your side", he said.
Other issues related to the consolidation of the national potential in the current situation, the strengthening of Armenia-Diaspora-Artsakh ties, the Armenian-French friendly relations were also discussed at the meeting.
