"Azerbaijan artificially delays the exchange of Armenian prisoners of war and hostages", Alen Simonyan, Deputy Speaker of the Armenian Parliament, said at a joint sitting of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly.
During the video conference, Simonyan stressed that after the signing of the trilateral statement on November 9, which prevented the bloodshed, important humanitarian issues should have been resolved, but to date the Azerbaijani side has not met the 8th point of statement of the Armenian, Russian and Azerbaijani leaders. The NA Deputy Speaker expressed hope that in this difficult period the allies will provide assistance in this issue.
By the way, the sitting of the CSTO Foreign Ministers also took place today, the results of which were summed up by the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. The latter, in particular, said that Russia does not see a deliberate delay in the exchange of prisoners and bodies, there are just objective complications.
