The President of the Republic of Armenia Armen Sarkissian addressed the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin regarding the return of prisoners of war and hostages who are on the Azerbaijani side.
In particular, President Sarkissian's letter states that the Armenian society and the Diaspora are deeply concerned about the situation of soldiers and civilians held captive in Azerbaijan.
"The mediation of the President of Russia will be a great supoprt in resolving the extremely sensitive issue of returning our military and civilians captured by Azerbaijan, as well as of returning the bodies of the victims", the letter reads.
