The Russian Ministry of Defense has located a field hospital in Stepanakert. The website of the RF Ministry of Defense informs that yesterday the special medical unit was transferred from Yerevan to Stepanakert.
The convoy was accompanied by patrol groups of the Russian peacekeeping troops and the military police. The modules of the military hospital are located in the territory of Stepanakert airport.
Special medical units will serve Russian peacekeepers, as well as provide necessary medical assistance to the people of Nagorno Karabakh.
The Russian Defense Ministry reports that the medical unit can accommodate up to 40 people. The first unit included 60 specialists, including military surgeons, anesthesiologists-resuscitators, therapists and epidemiologists.
