As it has already been informed, the RA President left for Moscow on a private visit. No official meeting was originally planned, therefore no agreement could be discussed regarding such meetings. This was reported by the Public Relations Department of the Office of the RA President.
Continuing the meetings with the Armenian communities of the Diaspora, Armen Sarkissian met with the representatives of the Russian-Armenian community in Moscow. Due to the coronavirus, a limited number of people were invited to the meeting which was held at the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Russia and New Nakhichevan. All the guests, about thirty people, took part in the meeting.
The participants of the meeting wanted to be informed directly by the President of Armenia about the latest developments around Artsakh and the situation in Armenia. During the direct conversation, which lasted for three hours, a sincere exchange of views took place, various questions were asked to the President, to which Sarkissian gave detailed answers.
"Some media outlets have spread false information about the visit and meetings of the President of Armenia, which has absolutely nothing to do with reality. We urge you to refrain from spreading false information in these difficult and sensitive times", the statement said.
