Today, the RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received French Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne and the delegation accompanying him.
The Prime Minister thanked for providing humanitarian assistance to the Armenians of Artsakh. "We thank friendly France for presenting the true situation on Nagorno Karabakh to the international community and providing humanitarian assistance", Pashinyan said.
Secretary Lemoyne noted that in line with the spirit of Armenian-French friendly relations, the French President reaffirmed his commitment to provide continuous humanitarian assistance to the Armenians of Artsakh. The interlocutors stressed the importance of assistance from international humanitarian organizations.
Afterwards, the Prime Minister met with the members of the delegation accompanying the humanitarian aid flight sent to the Armenians of Artsakh from France. Welcoming them, Nikol Pashinyan noted. "Dear colleagues, I highly appreciate the mission you have arrived in. We have always felt the support of friendly France", Pashinyan said .
Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne thanked the Prime Minister for his warm words. He introduced the members of the delegation, which includes representatives of state, international humanitarian, private organizations, the French-Armenian community, including the Ambassador of Goodwill Youri Djorkaeff, the leadership of the Aznavour Foundation.
In their speech, the members of the delegation stressed that Armenia and Artsakh can fully rely on the support of France and the French-Armenian community.
