On November 27, the RA Foreign Minister Ara Ayvazyan met with the head of the delegation accompanying the humanitarian aid flight sent from France to the Armenians of Artsakh, French Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne.
Welcoming the members of the delegation, the Minister Ayvazyan thanked for the visit to Armenia during this hard period and the solidarity shown by the Armenians of Artsakh.
During the meeting, the Armenian Foreign Minister and the French Secretary of State stressed the urgency of taking steps to address the humanitarian crisis in Artsakh, to provide conditions for the repatriated Artsakh Armenians to return to their homeland, and to protect their rights. In that context, the RA Foreign Minister thanked the French government and the people for being by the side of the Artsakh Armenians at this crucial moment.
Minister Ayvazyan pointed out Turkey's expansionist ambitions in the South Caucasus, assessing them as a key factor in undermining regional security and stability. In this context, both sides noted the importance of removing foreign armed terrorists transferred to the region by Turkey in terms of international and regional security.
