Issues that are not resolved through a joint statement should be negotiated within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs. The Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this in an interview with TASS, referring to the status of Nagorno Karabakh.
"In fact, there is a consensus, at least among the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs, and Armenia agrees with the view that the negotiation process should continue within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs. And the issues that are not resolved by the joint statement should be the subject of negotiations within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing. You know Armenia's position on the status of Nagorno Karabakh, and of course our position has not changed" Pashinyan said.
According to him, at the moment there are more operative issues that need to be resolved, in particular, the full exchange of prisoners and detainees, the exchange of the bodies, issue of missing persons.
"Of course, there is a certain communication in parallel. We are communicating with the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs. I am in constant contact with the President of Russia. I recently had a telephone conversation with the President of France Emmanuel Macron. You know that there is an election process in the United States. And I hope that the full working process with the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs will be resumed very soon", he said.
