The Spanish Congress has accepted the proposal of MP Jon Inarritu, in which the Congress extends its condolences to the families of the civilian and military victims of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. This was reported by the Armenian Embassy in Spain.
Congress reaffirms deep friendship with Armenian people, stresses protection of Armenian cultural and religious centers in areas under Azerbaijani control, If necessary - Increasing the humanitarian assistance by EU to the people of Nagorno-Karabakh, as well as supporting the return of internally displaced persons and refugees to their homes.
None of the political forces represented in the Congress voted against the above-mentioned proposal.
