Before the war, the population of Martuni was 6200, today you can see only a few persons in the streets of the town. The main reason is damaged infrastructure and houses. Hrachik Avagyan's house was completely burnt out by the enemy rocket.
There are many homeless people in Martuni. They say that the town became the scene of artillery war. I ask the mayor about the scale of the damage.
According to Edik Avanesyan, despite the social problems, the residents have started to return. The main problem is the lack of communication means and electricity.
Noyemberyan's 12-member group of volunteers took on the task of restoring the town's electricity. Arthur Amiraghyan says that the destinies of Martuni and Noyemberyan are very similar, both in terms of resisting the attacks of the border community and the enemy.
While the people of Noyemberyan are restoring electricity to Martuni with more than 5,000 meters of cable, we are visiting the Martuni families who have returned home. Fathers are at the forefront, mothers and children are keeping home life alive again.
