The President of the Artsakh Republic Arayik Harutyunyan held an extended working consultation in the regional center with the participation of the heads of the communities and the administration of the Askeran region.
The head of the state referred to the consequences of the war unleashed by Azerbaijan on September 27, emphasizing that the normal course of life must be restored as soon as it possible. In this context, the President Harutyunyan stressed that the Ministry of Urban Development will take operative measures to repair the apartments destroyed by the rocket attacks. According to Harutyunyan, the inventory of free housing in the communities should be completed quickly, the necessary repairs should be done in a short period of time, it should be provided with household property and provided to the homeless citizens before the construction of the main apartments.
He instructed the head of the administration to have a representative in the operative headquarters of the Artsakh government operating in Armenia, who will deal with the social problems of the residents of the region who were left homeless and found temporary shelter in the territory of Armenia.
Artsakh Minister of Urban Development Aram Sargsyan also took part in the consultation.
