"I learned with sorrow about the untimely death of Rita Sargsyan, the wife of the third President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan.
As Chair of the Donate Life charitable Foundation Board of Trustees, Ms. Sargsyan has played an important role in supporting Armenian children battling blood cancer by helping to address a number of issues in the field of child health. As a result of her activities, health and educational institutions were rebuilt.
Mrs. Sargsyan also carried out valuable social and public activities, encouraged the activation of cultural life.
