Nikol Pashinyan thanked the former Minister Davit Tonoyan for his work and wished Vagharshak Harutyunyan success in his future endeavors.
"We need to seriously analyze what happened, understand where and why we were wrong, what we need to do to draw conclusions from those mistakes. In general, it is obvious that we are facing the need for reforms in the army and the armed forces", the PM said in part.
The newly appointed Minister Vagharshak Harutyunyan, in his turn, thanked the Prime Minister for the trust and noted: "In the current military-political situation, appropriate steps should be taken. The situation is connected with Turkey's activities in the region, with the Russian Federation peacekeeping mission and the situation after the war. I am convinced that we, as officers, while maintaining the positives we had in the army, will prepare in a short time, evaluate the results, subjective and objective reasons, and prepare a new package of reforms that will be presented to you".
