On November 21, within the framework of the visit of the Russian interdepartmental delegation to Armenia, the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Russia Ara Ayvazyan and Sergey Lavrov took place.
Welcoming the members of the delegation, the Minister Ayvazyan stressed the importance of the Armenian-Russian allied relations in maintaining peace and stability in the region. According to the Armenian Minister, recent developments have also changed a lot in the perception of regional stability and security.
The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Russia exchanged views on a number of issues related to the bilateral and regional agenda. They considered it important to maintain the dynamics and intensity of the dialogue at different levels. The Minister Ayvazyan accepted the invitation of Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov to pay a working visit to Moscow in the near future.
