Today, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Armenia Fan Yun presented his credentials to President Armen Sarkissian.
President Sarkissian congratulated the Ambassador on entering the diplomatic service in our country and wished him fruitful activity. He expressed confidence that the newly appointed ambassador will make a great contribution to expanding mutually beneficial cooperation between the two friendly countries. "Our countries have strong and deep relations, great opportunities and potential for cooperation. We have proved that we can be good partners", said the President.
Ambassador Fan Yun conveyed to the President of Armenia the warm greetings and best wishes of the President of China Xi Jinping. Noting that he felt great hospitality upon his arrival in Armenia, the newly appointed ambassador said that the two countries have long-standing good traditions of friendship and he expects to continue developing strong and friendly relations.
President Sargsyan also referred to the consequences of the Azerbaijani-Turkish military aggression against Artsakh.
