The Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan introduced the newly appointed director of the RA National Security Service Armen Abazyan to the leadership of the NSS.
The PM noted that our state is currently living in rather hard times, when the National Security Service must be able to play its role as the backbone of the state.
"I am convinced it will happen. Of course, now are the times when we need to analyze what happened. I must say that my conclusion remains the same. The most difficult and biggest problem for us is that, unfortunately, we have not been able to reach the proper level of institution building in our country. In fact, after 2018, we removed systemic corruption and oligarchy from the public administration system, but during this time we were not able to form other effective systems", said the Prime Minister, adding:
"I want to wish success to Mr. Abazyan and all those present. We need to draw conclusions from what happened, discuss what happened, why it happened. We must be able to draw the right conclusions. Of course, I am sure that most of the information is concentrated in this room. But it is very important to be able to process, analyze and draw right conclusions”.
