On November 18, the RA Minister of Defense David Tonoyan met with the families of servicemen, who took part in the Artsakh war and whose whereabouts are still unknown.
The Minister informed the relatives of the servicemen that the search operations at the sites of the hostilities are continuing, the representatives of the Armed Forces together with the relevant structures are carrying out data collection works.
Davit Tonoyan informed the relatives of the servicemen that representatives of the Russian peacekeeping contingent stationed in Artsakh and the ICRC, supported by the Artsakh Emergency Situations Service, are actively involved in the search. Tonoyan noted that the works have been completed in some parts, and the search groups continue to carry out their mission in new territories.
Touching upon the issue of vacations of servicemen continuing their service in Artsakh, the Minister stressed that the process of providing vacations will be carried out in December, when the issues related to related to defense of Artsakh's borders will be finally clarified.
