A meeting chaired by the Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan was held, during which issues related to the ensuring of social guarantees for the families of servicemen killed in the war and persons with disabilities were discussed.
The Prime Minister, in particular, noted. "One of the important directions of our future activity should be the issue of social guarantees for the families of servicemen killed during the war, servicemen with disabilities. Today we have gathered, first of all, to discuss the situation around the Insurance Foundation for Servicemen, that is, to see what our situation is and what needs to be done in order to be able to ensure the full operation of the fund. We also need to discuss what additional tools we have in order to make the issues related to the fund's activities more sustainable and comprehensive”.
Then the activities carried out within the framework of the Insurance Foundation for Servicemen to ensure social guarantees, the mechanisms of one-time and monthly payments, the measures envisaged to expand the fund's resources were presented. Also various proposals were presented in connection with them.
Haykak Arshamyan, Executive Director of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund, presented information on the funds received during the fundraising entitled "We are, our borders", the directions and goals of their use.
Reference was also made to the implementation of social assistance programs for our compatriots in Artsakh. The Prime Minister gave specific instructions to the officials in order to carry out the work in the above-mentioned directions in the most organized, purposeful and targeted manner.
