"What do we want? We want, for example, the Armenia-Iran railway to run through Nakhichevan. We are talking about unblocking transport infrastructure", said the Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in an interview with Public TV today, talking on the issues, envisaged in the negotiations on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
He clarified that the unblocking does not apply to Turkey, as Turkey is not part of this agreement.
"We want to have not one way to Russia, but several possible ways, and if, for example, as a result of those talks we can reach a solution to our problems, imagine what a turning point will be for Armenia, if, finally, the railway becomes a real factor in our country, which will connect us with the Persian Gulf and Russia. These are also goals, which may or may not be achieved by this document", Pashinyan said.
