The rumors about the Turkish "Bayraktar" appearing in the airspace of Yerevan are false, Defense Ministry spokeswoman Shushan Stepanyan wrote on Facebook, adding.
"The RA Ministry of Defense applied to the NSS to reveal the source of the false news and those who spread it. The RA Armed Forces Air Defense Forces together with the Russian Air and Space Defense Forces have sheltered the airspace of Armenia and Artsakh, it is a closed zone for flights, with the exception of military and registered civil aviation.
