The first president of Armenia Levon Ter-Petrosyan issued a statement.
"The imperative to get out of the crisis situation without new losses is to avoid the danger of a civil war and to overcome internal political contradictions exclusively in a constitutional way.
Apart from being a great gift to the Turkish-Azerbaijani alliance, the civil war will be destructive for Artsakh, Armenia and all Armenians.
I want to hope that parties, socio-political groups, law enforcement agencies, influential representatives of the intelligentsia, and all forces with a sense of responsibility in general, who are concerned about the fate of the nation, will use all their influence to avoid such a catastrophic prospect".
