Today, the President of the Republic of Armenia Armen Sarkissian met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to the Armenia Jonathan Lacote.
The interlocutors referred to the recent developments in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict and the joint statement of the RA Prime Minister, and the Presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan, regarding the complete cessation of all hostilities in the conflict zone.
The President Sarkissian once again stressed that the settlement of the Karabakh conflict is a matter of national importance, which can be finally resolved only on the basis of a national consensus.
