On the night of November 8 and 9, the Defense Army units fought defensive battles in the south-eastern, southern and southwestern directions of the front line.
Intense battles were fought against the enemy groups in the Shushi-Karin area, as a result of which the latter, losing a large number of forces, retreated. Armenian troops occupied more favorable positions. During the mentioned period, 1 tank, 4 units of vehicles and 8 unmanned aerial vehicles belonging to the enemy forces were destroyed in different directions of the front line.
As a result of the operations in the south-western part, the army units also confiscated 1 enemy tank and artillery. Throughout the hostilities, the enemy continued to deliver air and missile strikes on the peaceful settlements of the Artsakh Republic.
In the morning, the attempts of the enemy forces to attack in all the main directions of the front line resumed. The operative-tactical situation is under the control of the Defense Army units.
