A video emerged in social networks showing several militiamen, in Azaerbaijani army uniform, attacking an Armenian Khachkar (Cross-Stone, a memorial stone monument with crucifixion and other religious elements). It is typical for Armenians to erase Khachkars in the settlements dedicated to any event, or to the memory of victims of Genocide.
The video clearly indicates the men attacking the Khachkar and destroying the bell on it. The men also use swearing in Russian against Armenians and their religion. It was not possible to identify and verify the source of the video, location and the military personnel. However, it is a clear sign of barbarity against the cultural and religious heritage. The video was also shared by some members of the National Assembly of Armenia: Edmon Marukyan, Artak Manukyan, etc.
