In an interview with BBC journalist Orla Guerin, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has denied the news on the bombing of peaceful settlements in Artsakh. He called them "fake". The host of the reputable media outlet has quoted the testimonies of their journalists that Stepanakert and other peaceful settlements were constantly bombarded with prohibited tape weapons, high-precision missile systems and UAVs.
"All this is not heard, this was witnessed and filmed by the BBC," Guerin stressed.
In response, Aliyev said he doubted the truth, accused the BBC and other media outlets of bias, and insisted the news was fake.
"So everything is fake news?" Guerin asked.
"I do not believe those witnessings and articles," Aliyev replied.
