On the night of November 7 and 8, the battles with variable intensity continued in all directions of the front line, said the spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense Shushan Stepanyan.
"More persistent operations were carried out near Shushi and in the southeastern part. The units of the Defense Army inflicted targeted blows on the enemy, repelling multiple attempts to advance.
During the battles in different directions, a large number of enemy troops, 4 tanks, 20 units of other armored vehicles, 11 units of military trucks, 2 drones were destroyed.
In parallel with the hostilities, the enemy targeted the capital Stepanakert and Shushi from missile systems. Civilian infrastructure was damaged.
At dawn, the accumulation of enemy equipment and personnel was observed in the south-eastern and north-eastern parts of the front line.
Army units are monitoring the operative-tactical situation and are taking steps to destroy the enemy", Stepanyan said.
