The Iranian army is moving armored vehicles to the north-west of the country to strengthen border security. This was reported by Irna news agency.
Earlier, The commander of Iran's Army Ground Force, Kiomars Heidari, stated that the Iranian armed forces will do everything possible to ensure "security and peace in the border areas" and will not tolerate violations of international law.
Referring to the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, Kiomars Heidari stated that the Islamic Republic persistently calls on both sides to resolve their problems politically.
"Maintaining the geopolitics of the region is our red line, no government will be allowed to change the geography of the region, we will not tolerate it," he said.
