Round clock battles are ongoing in different parts of the front. In particular, the fighting does not stop in the nearby area of Shushi. This was reported about by the representative of the RA MoD Artsrun Hovhannisyan during the briefing.
"I mentioned yesterday that we defended Shushi, but apparently the enemy, involving new forces and armors, continues to implement its plans of occupying Shushi. At the moment, our army is persistently protecting Shushi, inflicting significant losses, but the battles are persistent and continuous," Hovhannisyan said.
Hovhannisyan said that during the day there were fights also in other directions. In the direction of Martuni, the enemy tried to attack with the help of armored vehicles, but was thrown to the starting lines, leaving several corpses. Fights took place to the south of Berdzor, the enemy tried to advance several times, but they could not, and suffered losses.
"There were no active military operations in other directions, all day long artillery and shelling, though small-scale, was used both to the direction of the positions and the settlements," Hovhannisyan said.
