The San Sebastian City Council of the Basque Country has issued a statement expressing its solidarity with the Artsakh Republic and the Armenian people, calling on Azerbaijan to stop its military aggression, the Embassy of Armenia in Spain reports.
"The statement of the City Council reaffirms that the settlement of the conflict should be through negotiations, with the direct participation of the representatives of Artsakh in that process, based on the free will of its citizens," the Embassy statement reads.
