The First Instance court of General jurisdiction of Yerevan upheld the detention of Youssef Alabet Al Haji, a citizen from Syria. Youssef Alabet Al Haji was captured while thwarting attacks of Azerbaijani armed forces in Artsakh.
According to the RA Investigative Committee, Youssef Alabet Al Haji has been charged under the articles on international terrorism, serious violations of international humanitarian law during armed conflicts, and mercenary.
