All possible legal processes are being discussed in detail in the government, said the RA Minister of Justice Rustam Badasyan, referring to the military aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan against Artsakh.
"The leaders of the three countries acknowledged the presence of Syrian mercenaries in the conflict zone. This can have different consequences. First, there are a number of procedures, including conventions on the recruitment and financing of mercenaries.
For example, states with responsibilities for financial transparency, detection, investigation, and account freezing, are involved in financing terrorism, arming mercenaries, and relocating them in conflict zones, using it against people fighting for self-determination. All of this can have serious consequences within the framework of conventions", Rustam Badasyan said. According to him, the consequences can be different, including the application of sanctions, recognition of violations in reputable international courts, etc.
In response to a question about appealing to the International Criminal Court in The Hague, he advised not to hurry. "We will properly inform about the application of the sanction or appealing to any court" he said.
Badasyan also assured that the Government has started an appropriate legal process in order to emphasize the right to self-determination once again and substantiate. "In no way can Artsakh exist within Artsakh" the Minister stressed.
