Last night was quite severe in Shushi. The Azerbaijani armed forces have intensively targeted civilian facilities. There is a lot of destruction and wounded, Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh) Ombudsman Artak Beglaryan said during today's briefing.
According to him, the city of Martuni was also targeted, there is destruction in civilian facilities. "But there are no casualties there," Beglaryan said.
"Yesterday the city of Stepanakert was once again targeted, as a result of which two civilians were injured, one of them next to the maternity hospital building, the other near the central market. This means that the Azerbaijani armed forces are deliberately targeting civilian population and infrastructure," Beglaryan said, noting that some of the attacks were carried out with prohibited tape weapons.
A total of 46 civilians were killed and 144 wounded during the war. More than 13,800 private properties, more than 3100 infrastructure and facilities of public and industrial significance were damaged.
