Early this morning, the Azerbaijani armed forces continued their offensive operations in almost all directions, with bandits and mercenaries. Artsrun Hovhannisyan, the representative of the RA Ministry of Defense, stated this during the briefing, presenting on the map the villages in the direction of which the actions against the subversive groups continued today.
"South of the town of Martuni, the units of the Azerbaijani armed forces tried to launch an attack with the support of armored vehicles, air force and artillery. Losing some armored vehicles and a considerable number of manpower, they were thrown back to the starting lines. Throughout the day, our units, especially with artillery fire, continued to destroy enemy forces," Hovhannisyan said.
The representative of the Ministry of Defense said that around noon in the northern part, in the direction of Karvachar, the Azerbaijani armed forces tried to make a subversive penetration into the intermediate area under the pretext of removing the corpses, but were found and destroyed by long-range artillery fire.
