"Throughout the night, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces attempted a large-scale offensive along the entire northeastern border of Artsakh, all of which failed, were repulsed, some forces were trapped and completely destroyed by artillery fire". The representative of the Ministry of Defense Artsrun Hovhannisyan informed about this at today's briefing.
According to him, early in the morning, starting from 7 o'clock, in other parts of the border, in the north, Martakert, in the central direction, Martuni, in the southern part, the enemy carried out attacks in different directions. Hovhannisyan said - today, in contrast to the previous days, the intensity of the enemy's attacks was great. Attempts were made to attack in at least 4 directions, but they failed.
"Attempts by the enemy to attack in all directions have failed, in some places they have been repulsed, even persecuted. Our troops managed to pursue and have some positional improvements. The enemy managed to take one or two positions in the direction of Martuni, south of Martuni, in the direction of Chartar".
Hovhannisyan said that the enemy actively used aviation, several settlements were bombed. Among them, the Davit Bek community (Armenia) was bombed, there is one killed.
