At night, then in the afternoon, the enemy used aircraft and incendiary cluster shells, firing towards Martuni, neighboring villages and nearby forests.
Azerbaijan's goal is clear - Aggression not only against civilians, but also against the nature. Everywhere the sound of explosions is heard, and new destructions are everywhere.
Vadim Danielyan, Deputy Head of the Administration of the Martuni District:
"Since yesterday, the enemy has been conducting more intense shelling, especially at night. It was at night, when they opened fire on the town. There's destructions. Fortunately, there are no civilian deaths or injuries. In the 90s, Martuni was in a harder state. But the people united, fought and won. Today is the same picture - We are strong on the battlefield, we must be strong also in spirit. Martuni stands under shells, but for some reason the world is silent".
Kamo Safaryan, Resident of Martuni:
"It is regrettable that the powerful world forces are afraid and silent, like they are powerless”.
This is the handwriting of Azerbaijan, but Turkey incites it, the resident of Martuni, who went through the first and second Artsakh wars, is convinced. The genocide of Western Armenians has been committed a century ago, and today, the same Turkey wants to organize the genocide of Eastern Armenians in Artsakh.
