This is the second time women and the children protest in front of the US Embassy in Armenia. Peaceful protesters’ goal does not change, but the silence strengthens their struggle day by day.
Liana Adamyan (member of The Artsakh Women's Initiative Group) :
“Our agenda is the same. The United States, as the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing country, should impose a ceasefire to Azerbaijan, restrain Turkey and Azerbaijan from terrorism. I came here today in the uniform of my friends, I am the deceased Armen Dolukhanyan, who died yesterday, I am Arthur Babayan, whose body has not been buried for 30 days, because it has turned to ashes, I am the missing Misha Martirosyan, 18 years old, a prisoner of war in captivity. No one knows what torture this boy is being subjected to. I am the mother of a future soldier, I have come with demands, and, finally, I am Artsakh”.
They are not going to remain silent, they are knocking on the doors of international organizations and embassies telling facts about the atrocities taking place in Artsakh.
Siranush Sargsyan (member of the Artsakh Women's Initiative Group) :
“We will fight until the end, and those terrorists, whoever they are, will die or will leave. And where will they go next? They will go to Georgia, Russia, Iran, and from there to Europe and the USA. I’m telling you just wait for them in the United States".
Women have a lot to prove, they will come, stand for and demand justice with as many appeals as needed, they will make the world take Artsakh seriously.
Arevik Danielyan: “We are the mainstay behind Arstakh and we must be strong. We demand the world to listen and not to turn a blind eye. Put an end to all this soon, stop Azerbaijan and Turkey, don't allow the Genocide to be repeated once again''.
They demand from the United States to impose sanctions on Turkey and to expel Ankara from NATO. The children protest with their mothers demanding justice. They miss their home, their homeland. No matter children or adults, all as one will fight in the back. Posters will be written, erased, songs will be sung full of faith.
The will of Artsakh people is unbreakable, and the soldier fighting in Artsakh is invincible.
