The Artsakh President met with the members of volunteer detachments named after Vladimir Balayan and Shahen Meghryan. The president's spokesman Vahram Poghosyan informed about this.
"By the way, the boys of the Shahen Meghryan Volunteer Detachment, led by Commander Roland Aydinyan, recently had a close fight with a 22-member Turkish special forces detachment near the village of Avetaranots in the Askeran region, eliminating 20 of them. Only 2 managed to escape.
The commander says that they could have eliminated them as well, but gave the enemy soldiers an opportunity to tell what happened", Poghosyan said.
